[suPHP] Fwd: howto turn off new security sym-link feature?

that box is (currently) 8.04 ubuntu and pretty much updates itself, i
could revert to 0.6.2, or i could keep doing nothing about it until
the next version

from the example i gave i changing the user to the pseudo user
destroys the idea of being a separate from www-foobar - patch applied
working or not ie. its not the old behaviour

i need the old behaviour ie. disable the new shit, not hack up another
work around for this, why? because again, this is something that
should have just bean warned not errored - its the sysadmins job here
not you guys imho
